Title: Short Takes vol. 3 Date: 1982 Description: Another compilation of fun fragments. Comments: Did you know—the first bit I ever wrote for the show that didn’t include my puppets and/or me was a “Wizard” bit? It was so full of puns that it bombed utterly. As time went on I began to pick-up on the formula for successful “Wizard” material. Part of that formula is demonstrated by The Wizard himself in one clip in this compilation of fragments. The beneficiary of this instruction is a delightfully awestruck Ladmo Bag winner and when The Wizard asks, “Is that a smile of appreciation or does he seem somewhat amused?” the answer clearly is yes on both counts.
