Date: 1981 Comments: Here’s another appearance to promote seat belt use that veers completely off course. I think the inspiration for this bit came after a visit to Price Club (now Costco) where they offered a veritable “buffet” of samples. When Wallace mentions “Harry,” of course he’s referring to “Sergeant Harry” of the City of Phoenix police department who regularly appeared on the show. Notice the Ladmo Bag on the counter behind Polly—it’s so much bigger than the small “lunch sack” size of the later 80s!
