Here’s a holiday clip that should warm the cockles of the heart—that is, if you’re Mr. Potter from It’s a Wonderful Life!  Cassandra’s big business idea: designing and selling rude Christmas cards intended for people “...you just despise.”  Brimming with questionable artistic merit, her designs deliver insulting seasonal sentiments in distinctive “Valley Girl” jargon. 

Back in 1982, the “Valley Girl” vogue was in full swing, and naturally, Cassandra (who is genuinely a “Material Girl”) absorbed much of the persona and lingo.  Today, her trendy catchphrases seem soooo five minutes ago!

It’s hard to believe they’re actually twenty-five—YEARS AGO!
